AC Voices, Green Choices
This project was a collaboration with the youth and staff at Mighty Writers AC, where I led a community mural workshop. As a full-time artist, I introduced the students to art as a career and guided them in developing the theme and artwork for this mural. Many of the concepts you see here come directly from the students’ creativity. My role as the artist was to transform their ideas into a cohesive composition that represents everyone’s vision. When I asked the students what message they wanted the mural to convey to the public, they responded with, “AC Voices, Green Choices.”
